Going to a new dentist can be anxiety producing but my experience at Dr Barry’s office was superb. I don’t have dental insurance. I shared what my annual costs had been at my prior dentist’s office that had closed. They have an annual package that can be purchased which includes the usual x-rays, exam, two cleanings plus plus. the cost was within 20.00 of prior care. I found everyone to be very professional. Dr Barry did a thorough review of my history and current dental health status. He didn’t try selling me extras nor give me a 2 page list of dental care needs as I’d been given by several HMO docs in past. I love Dr. Ron Barry and everyone working in the office. I went there for a cleaning and initial evaluation. I have had some bad experiences with dentists in the past so I am hesitant to trust new ones. I 150% trust Ron and his team. They are all so kind, wonderful and helpful. During the initial evaluation Dr. Barry, not someone else, thoroughly reviewed with me all the x-rays and 3D graphing (super cool) of my teeth mouth and jaw. So I could see exactly what he was seeing as he explained everything. This made the experience really comforting and allowed me to ask questions as we went through everything. I had lots of questions and Ron was super happy to answer anything I asked. It was a great learning experience and made you feel very comfortable. When he gets the tools in your mouth his assistant is wonderful and right there the whole time. They are extremely cognizant of the patient and ensuring you are comfortable. The work is also amazing, I have a chipped front tooth and they capped it without a problem, and it looks fantastic and feels great. I had to return to fix a little problem with the cap 5 months after they did it. Ron took care of it in 5 min and sent me on my way without charging anything. I would recommend anyone who might not like the dentist to try out Dr Barry! More

The new equipment made getting x-rays a lot easier than I have ever had in the past. I received a very thorough examination. It was a very low key experience. Dr. McDonald identified some work that needed to be performed. He showed me the results of the x-rays and explained the work that needed to be performed in terms I could understand. He stated that, considering how long I had been away from a dentists office, I was in pretty good shape. He recommended certain things that needed to be done sooner than later, and other things that he would monitor for potential future procedures. I know that some dentists just try to "drill, fill, and bill", so this was very comforting. Dr. Barry and his staff run a modern, clean, and efficient practice using the latest technologies to assist them in evaluating and caring for their patients. As a new patient I had a full set of digital x-rays taken, followed by possibly my most thorough oral exam ever including a complete explanation of the findings by Dr. Barry, and finally my teeth were expertly cleaned by the hygienist Kristen. During the exam I felt like I had the full attention of Dr. Barry as he considered my previous dental history and made his recommendations. If it is possible to have a pleasant experience at the dentist, this office is about as good as it gets. Today I had a cleaning with Maggie, the hygienist, who is always incredibly thorough, intensely interested in all aspects of my oral wellness, and her delightful personality is a bonus! My 8 AM appointment actually put me in a good mood for the day! More

I have gone to Dr. Barry for years and would highly recommend him to others. He is always up-to-date on the latest techniques and is conservative in suggesting what work needs to be done, so I never feel that he is recommending expensive work that isn't necessary. He has a great personality and his office team is friendly, helpful, and professional. I go to Chrissy for my dental cleanings and would recommend her equally.My two sons went to Dr. Barry during high school and also liked Dr. Barry as their dentist, so he would get along well with any teenagers.
