Notice that this patient's older crowns not only had decay along the top but he also has gum tissue that both pulled away in areas as well as covered the front teeth causing them to look short and out of ideal proportion. We removed the existing crowns, excavated all decay and removed some of the gum tissue around the front teeth to give the ideal length to create an ideal smile. The lower teeth are still crowded however, notice after whitening how they are consistent with his upper teeth and his overall smile is beautiful.
